Learn How to Write a Kick Ass Thesis: Part 1 is a 1-hour 45 minute on-demand online workshop delivered by Psychologist, Adele Bergin. Adele Bergin is a former Lawyer and a currently registered Psychologist with a Master of Clinical Psychology. She has published research in numerous academic journals, including the International Journal of Stress Management, Anxiety, Stress and Coping, the Journal of College Student Development, and Mindfulness. "This workshop is an integration of the skills and knowledge I have accumulated having spent the last 10 years researching and writing theses and academic research articles, as well as how to avoid the common mistakes I have seen students make when I have reviewed and marked theses." - Adele Bergin In the workshop you will learn: 1. Strategies to build a good working relationship with your supervisor (and why this is important). 2. The secrets to conducting a comprehensive literature review to save yourself time (and headaches) later. 3. The one part of your thesis you should start NOW! 4. How to write a compelling Introduction, synthesise research, and find the infamous 'research gap'. 5. How you can avoid common mistakes made by students in their honours thesis. The workshop content will be available to you to watch, on-demand, at any time, until 31 December 2022.
